Sara V. Fernandez
MIT Center for Bits and Atoms
I am a PhD student at the MIT Center for Bits and Atoms. My research focuses
on modular metrology, building precision measurement instruments that enable
real-time feedback in digital fabrication.
My master's thesis,
White-Light Imaging Interferometry
, presents the design and construction of a low-cost optical profilometer
for high-resolution 3D surface measurement that I developed at CBA with
support from NIST.
