Anaïs Jeger
Hi! I'm Anaïs, a student at MIT's Center for Bits and Atoms, working with Neil Gershenfeld. Before coming to MIT, I was a Graduate Trainee at ESA's Advanced Concepts Team.
I have a BEng in Electronics and Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh and an MSE in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania. At Edinburgh, I managed the navigation subteam of HypEd, the university's Hyperloop society, and co-founded HumanED, our humanoid robotics society.
I've also interned at Wayve, ETH Zurich and Fauna Robotics. At Penn, I spent a semester as a research assistant in Cynthia Sung's lab, working on the NASA-funded TRUSSES project.
These days I'm interested in robots that can change their bodies and still figure out how to move. A lot of my work has involved simulation, so for my final project I'm building a modular legged robot to test some of those ideas on real hardware.
Outside the lab, I love lifting, surfing, diving and hiking. I'm also working on becoming a slightly less amateur mountaineer!
