Electronics design

Assignment

I am designing an embedded microcontroller board in KiCad, from parts in the Fab inventory. The group part of the week is to watch a microcontroller run on the lab's test equipment.

Second revision

I am building a breakout for the mill in the final project. It is the board a spindle sensor plugs into, so the machine can report spindle load.

This is the second revision of the board. I tried to make it cleaner by simplifying the input circuit to just the voltage divider and the RC low-pass filter. I kept the Seeed XIAO RP2040 and an indicator LED.
