Publishing to Forgejo

The repository is the source of truth. Forgejo Actions checks out the main branch, installs locked dependencies, builds the Astro site, and publishes only the generated static output.

Why only dist/ is published

The source tree contains development files that browsers do not need. Publishing dist/ keeps the public site small and ensures the server receives ordinary HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and search-index assets.

The workflow derives the public base path from the Forgejo repository name, so the same source remains usable locally and can later move to a different host or custom domain.
