Working with this site

The site is generated from Markdown and MDX files stored in Git. A normal edit follows four steps.

1. Start the local site

npm install
npm run dev

2. Add or edit content

Section titled “2. Add or edit content”

Documentation lives in src/content/docs/docs/. Blog posts live in src/content/blog/.

Create a blog draft with:

3. Validate the site

npm run check
npm run build

The content schemas catch missing titles, invalid dates, unsupported portal shapes, and malformed metadata before publishing.

4. Publish

Section titled “4. Publish”

Commit the change and push the main branch to Forgejo. The publishing workflow builds the static site and synchronizes the generated dist/ directory to the course web server.
